As far as the Novogar championship chase goes, Sunday's Jack Woodwinner Lee Sampson will not be in the points at Dob Park (but he issitting on a 55 total at present) nor will Alexz Wigg and Ross Danby asthey are all off to ride the World Round in Spain. That opens the doorfor the likes of Welsh champ Gary Jenkins and James Fry. Richard Allenshould challenge the Over 40 series from Dave Clinkard but that willheavily depend on what the northern lights can produce.

The action, as last year, takes in 40 sections and starts in DobPark where the sections are interesting' to say the least. From thereit's down to Dob Splash, Sword Point, Les's Rocks, Fewston Post Office,Top Snowden, and Crabtrees (no spectators in these two groups) beforethe finale in Browns Wood where Crosser's Rocks are waiting to bite theunwary. Engines will fire up at 9.31am prompt when Ben Raynor prods hisBeta into life and Barry Robinson, armed with a battery of Nikons, willfollow it all for T+MX.
