WITH James Stewart withdrawing on health grounds, the promoter of the Genoa Supercross tomorrow (Saturday) had to act quickly to appease a disappointed crowd, but, with plenty of budget to work with, have come up with a stunning list of replacements.
SX legend Jeremy McGrath, who celebrated his 38th birthday last week but is still capable of finishing second to Chad Reed in Australia, has agreed to race for Martin Honda, while Joe Gibbs Racing sends both Bercy winner, Justin Brayton, and 2009 Anaheim winner, Josh Grant.
The Italians also claim to be in negotiation with World MX2 title-holder, Marvin Musquin it's amazing what you can get for the same price as Stewart.
Incidentally, McGrath (pictured) will also stand in for Stewart in the Australian finale at Brisbane next week.
