The North Berks Super Trial, a unique event in the British calendar, is rapidly approaching.

And the country's reading riders will be looking to strut their stuff in front of a large and enthusiastic crowd of spectators on the weekend of August 11/12.

Stu Robinson is once again heading things up for the Berko boys and girls and Stu has just released a list of riders already signed up.

They are reigning British Champ James Dabill plus arch rivals Michael Brown, Alexz Wigg, Jack Challoner, Ross Danby, Sam Haslam, George Morton, Ricky Wiggins, Ben Morphett and Craig Robinson – and that is just to date.

The boys will be performing on Sunday (August 12) but on Saturday an exciting new element has been added and Britain's top girls will be showing-off their skills.

British champ Becky Cook on her Beta will renew her ongoing battle with Ossa factory rider Emma Bristow while Danielle Whitham, Nikita Smith and Jess Bown will all add to the spectacle and all are worthy of your support.

The Super Trial takes place as usual at Seymours Arena, West Hagbourne near Didcot and it will take place over a confined area which makes it ideal for spectators.

Stu Robinson makes excellent challenging and spectacular sections, including a man-made waterfall and the whole event is a showcase for the skills of modern trials aces.

Seven sections will be used for the qualifying round, before a further three are introduced to the mix for the grand final.

Sponsors this year include Jotagas, Acklams Beta, John Shirt Gas Gas, Bicester Tyre and Exhaust Centre, Terra Firma, TRC Trucks, Andrews Building, Jitsie, Thames Valley Hydraulics, Hagbourne Garage, GRO, Pidcock Montesa, Pete Welch Motor Engineers, Fleur de Lys and East Hagbourne Premium Bikes, Didcot.

Camping is available for those of you who want to make a fun weekend of it and why not, and there are toilets on site.

The Super Trial is a major effort by a very few people and deserves your support. Watch this space for further info.
