Time to dish out the awards

DIRTBIKE-Traxs and True Grit Off-Road are holding a presentation evening on December 8 at the Harrogate Town Football Club's function room, where all the awards for the UK's biggest Hare Scramble Championship will be presented. The evening includes a late bar, buffet and disco.
This series has been the biggest of its kind inthe UK, attracting over 1,200 individual riders during the course ofthe season and regularly drew over 500 riders to the individual rounds.Thanks to the main sponsor, Putoline Oils, there is a substantial kittyof cash and product prizes. Local dealers have also played a major partin this championship, namely D3 Racing of Kendal, Eurotek of Ripon,Bikesport Newcastle, RAS-Sport of Brighouse, NTB Racing of York,Sandifords of Burnley and KAIS of Atherton.
Supporting the Youth classes was Paul Irwin's RaceFX who has supplied Sinisalo race kits as prizes. Meanwhile, DylanBrown at Vesty UK in supplying Polisport Plastic kits to the Sportsmanclass winners which will enable them to bring their bikes back to theirbest!
All prize winners are requested to attend tocollect their trophies and prizes as last year the organisers draggedprizes around until June - a practice which the organisers will notrepeat this year.

nDirtbike-Traxs is running a practice HareScramble event at its Nord Vue course at High Hesketh, near Penrith,Cumbria, on Sunday, December 2.
Even though this is a practice event theDirtbike-Traxs crew has altered the course, incorporating lots of newsections as development of the venue continues.
The practice day is a chance for newcomers to thesport to have a go on a full hare scramble track as well as regularriders having a good thrash around.
The course has been designed with easy routesaround the climbs and steep descents, allowing the Youths and lessexperienced riders to come and have a go.
