KTM D3-Racing has agreed terms once again to support Tom Sagar in the BEC and WEC. A three-year Factory contract has been signed by Tom and he moves up to the Factory Farioli team and will ride a 250 EXC-F in class E1.

D3-Racing, after four very successful years, has gained additional support from KTM UK and Andrew Seymour of Optoma Mortgages and is now in a position to assist Greg Evans with Technical support and Suspension prepared by D3. The team, which is supported by northern KTM dealers Triple-D Motosport, will also work together with South Wales KTM dealer Wayne Mounter who supports Greg with bikes and parts. Greg will race a 250 EXC 2-stroke in E2 for the BEC and also contest the Junior World Championship.
Optoma Mortgages D3 KTM will make their debut at the Tough One on January 26 where a strong KTM Factory four rider team will be present with David Knight, Taddy Blazuiak, Tom Sagar and Greg Evans.
Tom Sagar, This is an opportunity of a lifetime for me to get a full factory contract with KTM and now I can concentrate on being a professional rider, until now I have worked every day which I enjoy, but to ride at WEC level and to be competitive it is necessary to train and practice most days.My aim for the first year is to defend my BEC title and finish in the Top five of the E1 class at WEC. I will also be competing in indoor and extreme events.
Greg Evans, I am really looking forward to '08, being part of the D3 team is going to make a big difference to me and having someone set-up the bike and take care of the small details will allow me to concentrate on practicing and racing, I know I can fight for the E2 BEC title and can make some very good results in Junior WEC, it's going to be awesome!
