The ninth running of WOR Events Tough One Hard Enduro is set to be the best yet, with the strongest line up of International Hard Enduro stars on the planet.

The Pro entry list is simply second to none and has never been bettered in the UK, with riders coming from all over Europe and as far as South Africa to take part in this stunning spectatcle at Nantmawr Quarry, near Oswestry.

Nantmawr is on the Welsh border with Shropshire is the home of Extreme Enduro in the UK and over the years the event has gathered a reputation as one of the top events in the world with its unique atmosphere and unrivalled spectator veiwing, which allows spectators unlimited and regular access to the superstar competitors.

This year's event will be completed in daylight, which means that spectators will not miss any of the action due to nightfall or the blinding floodlights of years gone by.

Just 100% action as the committed riders will tackle all the ingredients that have made the T1 what it is today.

Heading the line-up is the highly successful Graham Jarvis, now a fully-fledged Husaberg factory rider, but he will face stiff competition from South African newcomer Wade Young (Husaberg), KTM factory rider Jonny Walker, Sherco-mounted Wayne Braybrook, Paul Bolton (KTM), Danny McCanney (Gas Gas) and the Hemingway brothers Ben and Dan, both Beta mounted.

Trials fans will be interested to compare the performances of feet-up regulars Alexz Wigg (Gas Gas) and BTC champion James Dabill (Beta).

There will be strong foreign representation from the likes of Spaniards Xavi Gallindo and Alfredo Gomez (both Husaberg), French Sherco factory rider Fabien Planet, Spain's Melcior Faja (KTM), Germany's Andreas Lettinbichler Husqvarna and Austria's Lars Enockl (KTM).

The course has been extended further up the mountain above the old quarry, and many of the favourite hazards will be in place to challenge the skills of and endurance of the riders.

Awating are the ‘Log Mat', a test over tree- sized logs that are just but a bike length apart and cause all kinds of misshapes and mischief for the riders; the Lorry trailer, a slippery journey into the back end of an old covered lorry that has evil and gore waiting at the exit point; and the classic root of all evil, a simple blast up a short but steep climb with a nasty root across the middle. This latter hazard his can make superstar riders look decidedly average.

However the primary factor which saps the strength of the riders is the repeated climbs and descents over the angular rockery which is so plentiful around the edges of the quarry.

Riders may get some respite up on the new open going high up on the mountain side above Nantmawr.

Hard Enduro is a fine mix of the best knowledge and rxperience that Tough One organiser and creator, Steve Ireland, and his team have cooked up over the years.

The main event this year is a gruelling three-hours in duration, and that coupled with the Clubman and Veteran race of of hours duration, this equates to over five-hours of top notch racing entertainment.

Please note that tickets will be available at the venue on the day. Postcode for the venue is SY10 9HJ.
