Trophy time

THE popular southern based UMX Motocross Championship season finished at Owslebury last weekend after seven hard fought rounds.
Starting back in March, the series visited seven different tracks, All the organisers and helpers should be congratulated for all their hard work especially Marilyn Slater and Clare Foyle who both put in hours of hard work.
After the Owslebury meeting the annual trophies were presented which went down to 60th place in the Juniors.
The 2009 champions were Dexter Marks (Solo Expert), Olly Mayhew (Adult Junior), Andy and Tim Breacher (Sidecar Expert) and Ross Bowers and Darren Bishop (Sidecar Junior).
The series now looks forward to more excellent racing which gets underway in March 2010.
