Sam Winterburn put his name firmly in the frame as one to watch out for in next year's BYMX championships with an astonishing display of speed and determination at the Polesworth trophy meeting at the weekend.
Sam, aged 14, and the family made the 125-mile round trip especially to test out the new Colin Appleyard Suzuki and it certainly paid dividends with Sam going home with the winner's trophy and a reputation that is now greatly enhanced following one of the best Big-wheel displays seen in recent months.
