Wayne picks up a shiny Peny...

WAYNE Braybrook rode throttle-to-the-stop on Sunday in the fourth round of the Gas Gas Motos UK XC series and he took a brilliant win on his 300 two-stroke Gasser. The Penybont circuit, Powys, and weather were both awesome and the flowing mountain-based loop had everyone shaking the clerk of the course's hand at the end.
The track was perfection and with rolling hillsand massive jumps everywhere, was not really the type of going to suitone of the Worlds best Extreme Enduro riders but Braybrook simplyadjusted to the conditions and led the main event from start to finish.
Second, about 40-seconds adrift, was MartinSandiford who was absolutely flying and on the jumps was easily thespectators' favorite. Sandiford did close the gap on Braybrook to about15-seconds but after Braybrook's pit crew informed him, he pulled awayagain.
Dutchman Mike Kock made a welcome return to WORand took third overall. After a slow start Kock set lap times thatrivalled both Braybrook and Sandiford.
Onto the Clubman two-strokes and once again it wasHarry Hillas that stormed the class with another quality ride. Just 37seconds separated Hillas from Aled Humphreys while filling the podiumwas Lewis Belfield, in Clubman for the first time and showing how muchhe has improved in the last six months.
The Clubman Four-stroke riders had Lee Essex in afine third place and Jim Buchanan second as Lewis Cutter took thespoils with a lap advantage.
