Weston camping

This years RHL Beach Race at Weston will feature two camping areas right at the heart of the event, just a stones throw away from the famous dunes on which more than 300 quad riders will do battle on October 13.
The Platinum Camping area is located on the lawns of the Weston-Super-Mare seafront, adjacent to the main pedestrian access point at the Tropicana. The Platinum Camping area is open to motorhomes, camper vans and self-sufficient converted vans and offers unrivalled access to the biggest off-road event on the UK Calendar.
The popular Quad Village will also return to Weston this year.
The Quad Village is a dedicated camping area open only to those competitors competing at the 2012 Beach Race at Weston on four wheels. Immensely popular in the past, the Quad Village fills up extremely quickly, so competitors at this year's event are urged to book now to avoid disappointment.
"The Platinum Campsite and the Quad Village will, once again, be right at the heart of the RHL Beach Race at Weston,” explains Gareth Hockey, director of RHL Activities. "If you really want to live and breathe the Beach Race at Weston, then camping on site really is the best way to do it. Campers will be just a stone's throw from all the action on track and conveniently located for all the off-track entertainment we have planned to mark the 30th anniversary of the biggest off-road event in Great Britain. I'm quite tempted to bring a camper van myself!”
