Win cash at the Wallace
By TMX Archives on 15th Jan 09

THE opening trial of the 2009 eight round ACU Novogar (Clubman) National series is the North Berks MCCs Wallace Cup Trial which will take place on Sunday, February 22. The Wallace is a well-established, popular, single-lap event with the experienced and enthusiastic Stu Robinson in charge of the hazards so a good event is guaranteed. The Wallace will once again be based at the Horse and Harrow public house at West Hagbourne, near Didcot, and a cracking 25-mile lap is planned taking in no fewer than nine groups of sections. There will be 38 separate hazards in total and including, as usual, a good few in the famous Seymours Arena which is the big spectator draw and Stu always comes-up with something new each year.
The Novogar series this year includes a separate, easier, none-championship class and 50 per cent of the Wallace sections will offer the alternative eased route for this class.
As usual, the North Berks club will offer several cash prizes with the top Expert (none championship on the hard course) and the Novogar winner both claiming 100 and there are other cash awards up for grabs!
So, here's the chance to get your year off to a great start with a very rideable, road-based, trial, but you need to get your entry sorted quickly. So phone Clare NOW on 01235-816644.
