WOR a good win for Edmondson
By TMX Archives on 14th Jun 07

WOR Events provided another top quality enduro weekend for its riders at yet another brand new venue on the Powys Borders. Purely forest-based and with a six-mile loop, the circuit had literally everything an enduro rider could wish for and even the weather remained bone dry for the weekend.
Steve Ireland, WOR's main man, had made sure thatthe entry was restricted to ensure parking along the roadsides did notget out of hand.
The track could quite easily have coped with 200riders per race but Ireland insisted on 60 riders per race and over 200riders were turned away.
This event was the second of three events (over three weeks) in a very busy period for the WOR team.
The main three-hour, multi-lap, enduro started at1pm and had two of Britain's best enduro riders present - PaulEdmondson and the likeable big Scotsman Euan McConnell.
McConnell had been on hand as guest coach for Saturday's Race Experience/ Practice day.
With both Paul and Euan out to get some good biketime and practice before the forthcoming opening round of the BritishEnduro Champs, it turned into a no holds barred contest as both partiesgave it full gas.
