A testing time at Hawkstone

NEVER prepared to rest on their previous successes, L+M Events have added yet another new element to the TMX Grand Prix Great Britain, which you all know will be held at Hawkstone Park over the weekend July 28/29. For the first time ever, the public will have the chance to test ride the latest model bikes from all the major trial manufacturers.
For the last six months, L+M Events have beenworking behind the scenes with Britain's main five importers to puttogether this fantastic and unique opportunity offering what will bethe UK's biggest ever trials test session. Beta/ Gas Gas/ Montesa/Scorpa/ Sherco have all now confirmed their attendance.
Two separate test sessions have been slotted intoSaturday's already hectic schedule, to give the public the chance toride their chosen selection of bikes. Registration will be done on theday, with the test rides being free of charge for any one holding avalid event entrance ticket. With only limited availability, interestedparties are advised to register early in the day, as demand is sure tobe high. No bookings prior to the day can be accepted. Please notethose wishing to ride must bring their own boots, helmet and protectiveclothing.
Representatives from all the major UK importers,along with their supported riders, will be on hand throughout the testsessions to offer their expert guidance and advice, to ensure that thepublic get the most from their time on the various bikes they opt totry. A designated test area will be set up away from the main Worldchampionship course that will incorporate suitable terrain for alllevels of riders from novice through to expert.

13.00 - 14.30 Masters Mini-Trial

Commenting on the test sessions, John Lampkin ofBeta UK stated: ''Giving the public the opportunity to test the fullarray of trials bikes at such a major event is a great idea, and one Iam sure the public will see as the icing on the cake for what we allknow is going to be another fantastic weekend for British trials.''
Reinforcing Lampkin's comments, Caroline Sandifordof Montesa UK added. ''Hawkstone has been brilliant for promotingtrials in this county over the last two years, and I am sure that byincluding these new test sessions the public are going to enjoy theoccasion more than ever. What's great is that the people will get thechance to ride the production version of the same bike that Bou,Lampkin and Fujinami will be winning on!''
The TMX Grand Prix Great Britain will take placeover two days once again, with the trial itself taking place throughoutSunday. In addition to the test sessions, Saturday's programme will bepacked with autograph opportunities with the top riders, officialpractice and an extended version of the Mini Masters trial, which wasreceived so well on its introduction last year. More details regardingthe Mini Masters trail will be released soon. The trade village, thatwill include some of the UK's biggest dealers, distributors andimporters, will be open throughout Saturday and Sunday.
