Arenacross fired up for 100th night of action

Manchester’s AO Arena hosts the 100th Night of Arenacross on Saturday, February 22 and series promoters ASL Active are putting in 100 per cent effort to make sure the final round of the 2025 Arenacross ACU British Championship – incorporating the last AX World Tour qualifier ahead of the Yas Island finals in Abu Dhabi on July 5 – will go down in history as one to remember.
Not only will the event feature Pro, Amateur and Youth championship race action alongside regular AX favourites the Fuel Girls, FMX demos (starring Britain’s best freestyle riders) and an off-the-hook laser, light, pyrotechnic and sound show that’ll rock all your senses sidewards, but for one night only Arenacross is gonna get supersized with even more awesomeness for your viewing pleasure!
First up, FMX legend Petr Pilat has been added to the rider roster and the incredibly flexible and oh-so-daring Czech ace has got plenty of tricks up his sleeve that’ll make you ooh and ahh in equal measure.
Celebrities – including Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher aka Andy Sugden – are set to compete in Arenacross for the first time on Kawasaki KLX140 minibikes. You think soap stars come to a sticky end on the telly? Well, you ain’t seen nothing yet. More star names are being signed up as we speak so stay tuned.
Another new initiative that’s being rolled out in Manchester is balance bike racing for kids who’ll have earned their spot on the start line in the Amped Road to Manchester contest. The winner of that race will go home with a brand new 10Ten MXE-RS electric bike supplied by Dualways.
