An unprecedented amount of minor rider injuries has played havoc with the entry list for rounds five and six of the 2024 Arenacross British Championship that are taking place this weekend (January 26/27) at the P&J Live Arena in Aberdeen.
To combat the losses, the proactive Bolesworth promotional team are welcoming French SX specialist Pierre Lozzi into the line-up to replace Mel Pocock at Dirt Store Kawasaki and former MX2 star Jorge Zaragoza from Spain who fills in for Dylan Woodcock, who has been forced to sit out the visit to the Granite City due to mandatory concussion rest.
Perhaps an even bigger surprise than the injection of imported talent is that Crendon Tru7.com Honda Racing star, Conrad Mewse is still entered for Aberdeen after missing the second night of action in Belfast due to an ankle injury. With only a handful of points separating Mewse and Stark Future's Jack Brunell at the top of the championship standings, Conrad looks set to grit his teeth and compete to keep his Arenacross British Championship dream alive.
