Enduro News: GBXC Sprint this weekend
By TMX Archives on 6th Jul 16
Rounds five and six of the ACU GBXC British Sprint Championship are running at Ashby Motopark, LE65 1SD, this coming weekend.
The Fast Eddy crew have been hard at work spending a full week prior to the event creating two special tests, a bit shorter than usual but packed with features, and all riders will have six shots at each test on each day.
The famous Endurocross section will come into play and will be revamped specifically for the event, so there will be plenty of action throughout the two days for both riders and spectators.
Ashby Moto park is a little gem, easily accessible off the A42/M42 Junction 13, just five minutes from the junction.
It is also great for spectators, its compact layout allows onlookers to reach all parts of the course quite easily.
Parking is plentiful and the pits area is well laid out.
The woodland section and the MX track will add to the excitement, both are being graded to within an inch of their lives.
This is the perfect opportunity for those riders who have never tried a Sprint before.
The tests will be ride-able and not too long allowing the fast riders to bang in some super quick times while the not so fast riders can enjoy tests that are not so lengthy as usual.
All usual facilities will be available across the weekend so don't miss it!
