Johansson Yamahas Lee Sealey wrapped up round six of the Enduro World Championship on a high note, earning an Enduro Youth class podium result on the second day of racing at the GP of Spain.
Despite mixed weather conditions and a highly technical course, Sealey was one of the main contenders for the Enduro Youth podium throughout the weekend.
The GP started in the best possible way for the 19-year-old Brit who powered his enduro-modified Yamaha YZ125 to the win in the short opening Super Test on Friday evening.
Capitalising on his good speed in the Spanish terrain he posted top three times in six out of nine special tests on day one to eventually earn fifth in Enduro Youth class.
Coming back stronger on Sunday, Sealey was holding on to a strong runner-up position for the majority of the day, but a small mistake in the final enduro test resulted in him having to settle for third in class.
Impressively, Sealey wrapped up the GP having posted the fastest times in seven out of the 19 special tests contested throughout the weekend.
Earning a spot on the Enduro Youth class podium for the third time this season, Sealey also saw his gap to the top three in the championship standings reduced to just 12 points.
