Team GB ladies shine at Bergamo ISDE
By Team TMX on 12th Sep 25

The ACU Team GB Women’s Trophy Team completed the 2025 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) with an impressive fifth-place finish, solidifying their reputation on the international stage.
Team members Elizabeth Tett, Katie Walker, and Nieve Holmes arrived in Italy in mid-August, dedicating five intense days to walking the tests in preparation for the six-day endurance challenge. From the start, the British ladies brought an infectious positivity and a professional mindset that set the tone for their performance.
Support from family, friends, and team management was crucial to their success. Throughout the arduous competition, the women enjoyed amazing meals courtesy of Michele Lincoln, who worked tirelessly in the team kitchen, generously sponsored by Midshires Catering Equipment LTD. Lincoln's healthy, home-cooked dinners fuelled the team and kept morale high, enabling them to tackle the demanding tests each day.
The backbone of this success was the dedicated BST team of volunteers, who managed the checkpoints, provided essential service support, and ensured the riders had everything they needed to perform at their best. Their commitment saw them rise before 6am and remain until the last rider checked in at night - a true testament to their dedication and passion.
Key sponsors played a critical role in this remarkable achievement, including Dirt Store, NOCO, Bennett’s, Saintswell MX, Enduro Centre, Wootton Tree Services, Carbon Comps, Hartland Fire Holdings, and Lasermaster. The financial and moral support from these partners, along with the generous public who purchased raffle tickets and team merchandise, contributed immensely to the team’s ability to compete at such a high level.
“I extend heartfelt congratulations to Elizabeth, Katie, and Nieve for their incredible determination and professionalism throughout this week,” said team manager Alexandria Jones. “I am so proud of the way they represented our nation and the sport, pushing through their limits to achieve a commendable result.

“Our gratitude extends to all our sponsors and supporters - without you, we cannot call ourselves a team. We thank the Auto Cycle Union for their unwavering backing and dedication to the future of women's enduro in Great Britain. We are proud to represent our country and are excited about the potential for even greater achievements in the years to come.
“As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to what the future holds for our extraordinary female athletes. Give a round of applause to these remarkable women for their stunning performance at the ISDE - here’s to reaching even greater heights in the future!”
