2016 Beta’s two good
By Team TMX on 2nd Sep 15
The Beta R&D department has succeeded in improving a design which was already pretty damn close to perfection.
Yep, the EVO – a trials bike that has been a best-seller for many years – has once again been improved.
For the 2016 models the Florentine engineers have focused their efforts on the engine, succeeding in giving each of the engine sizes in the EVO range distinctive characteristics.
The new two-stroke models include the 125, 250 and 300.
Changes common to all engine sizes in the EVO two-stroke range (300, 250, 200 and 125cc) include a Sachs single shock which features new valve settings to improve the rebound feel which has allowed the shock to work better in conjunction with the front fork.
As the sport has evolved this upgrade is directly aimed at improving the feel while the bike is being ridden on the rear wheel.
The new colours are trendy, making the white-painted aluminium frame really pop combined with the mix of white, black and fluorescent red plastic parts and graphics.
The bikes are not available until early October with prices hopefully remaining the same.
Of course, when TMX gets out to test these two-stroke beauties you will be first to know.
