ACU to Launch Sportity Digital Infoboard Across National Championships in 2026
By Team TMX on 20th Jan 26
Competitors, teams and officials across ACU national championships will have streamlined access to event information from 2026, following the governing body’s decision to adopt the Sportity digital infoboard app.
The move forms part of the ACU’s wider push to modernise communication and improve the distribution of key documentation, with discipline-specific Sportity channels set to replace the fragmented mix of emails, messaging groups and manual updates currently used across championships.
Free to download on both iOS and Android, Sportity will provide a centralised platform for event regulations, timetables, electronic briefings and results, ensuring stakeholders can access up-to-date information in real time throughout race weekends.
Motocross will be the first discipline to roll out the system, with the launch of the ‘ACUMXGB’ channel. The channel will host all official British Motocross Championship documentation, serving as a single reference point for competitors and teams throughout the season.
Additional national championships are expected to follow, with further Sportity channels to be introduced in due course. Access will be controlled, with login passwords issued directly by the ACU to relevant competitors, teams and officials.
ACU Motocross Commission Co-ordinator, Sonia Goggin, said:
“We’ve never had a central information portal before so the arrival of Sportity is great news for everyone connected to MXGB. It will make accessing key series and event information much easier and will eliminate the need to search through e-mails, WhatsApp groups or text messages.”
MXGB Series Director, Paul Irwin, added:
“We have a huge amount of information to share across the series and at each individual event. Having a dedicated MXGB channel will be invaluable, giving stakeholders one central place for all the relevant information. A single, go-to platform is clearly the way forward.”
The introduction of Sportity is expected to significantly reduce administrative friction across events, while improving consistency, clarity and accessibility of information throughout the 2026 season and beyond.
