Bolt's the Elite Sprinter

KTM UK rider Daryl Bolter topped the UK's first ever sprint enduro event the Putoline Oils Elite Sprint Enduro, staged at Cwmythig Hill, Mid Wales. Performing faultlessly throughout the day Bolter topped the podium ahead of team-mate Greg Evans with Irishman Philip McLaughlin third as the exciting new-style event proved to be a hit with all who competed
Despite less than favourable weather the Putoline Oils Elite Sprint Enduro – the first ever sprint enduro to be staged in the UK – proved to be a great success with the exciting new format enduro event being well received by riders and spectators alike.
With competitors travelling to the Cwmythig Hill venue in Mid Wales from all corners of the country the modest sized entry included several of Britain's best Enduro riders. Not even the wet, Welsh, weather could dampen the spirits of eventual event winner Daryl Bolter as the Premier Bikes KTM UK rider claimed a well-deserved win ahead of Mounter M/C's Greg Evans with Electraction TM UK's Philip McLaughlin third.
Quickly setting themselves apart from the rest of the competitors, Bolter and Evans were separated by next to nothing at the end of the opening timed special test. Again pushing each other hard on lap two it looked as if the KTM mounted duo would continue to battle one another throughout the day.
