BOU WOW!

THE 10,000 strong Barcelona crowd - including more than a few Brits - were treated to an awesome demonstration of Indoor Trials skills on Sunday evening by Montesa's new sensation Toni Bou. An amazing three wins from four World Indoor starts has given the Catalan teenager a six point series lead!
"TONI, Toni, Toni" was the chant echoing around the St Jordi stadium from over 10,000 Catalan fans as their new boy Toni Bou stormed to a stunning victory in the St Jordi Stadium, Barcelona, on Sunday. The new Repsol-Montesa hero had just wiped the floor with the World's best -in a disbelieving sixth place on the night after a total disaster of a Qualifying round when he rode with none of the confidence that has typified his career so far.
Repsol-Montesa were the real winners on the night, with Takahisa Fujinami making it a one-two for the factory four-strokes and Dougie Lampkin was well-pleased with his fourth place and the scalps of Raga and Cabestany. Only Jeroni Fajardo upset the Montesa party by bagging third for Beta albeit a distant third in the final as his confidence deserted him following a more than useful Qualifying lap when he was second rider to take on the sections.
