The guys from MBP, who delivered Britain's firstever National Four-stroke Mini Bike Championship earlier this year, have been hard at work designing a track to fit within the confines ofthe agricultural building at the Midlands-based venue. The circuit willinclude a mix of a traditional dirt base with the added twist of somespectacular man-made sections.
The racing is set to be fast and fair, with handlebar-to-handlebar action guaranteed.
All eight riders being on identical SuperStockMid-sized bikes. This will ensure that skill succeeds over anyperformance advantage if the riders were allowed to use their ownmachines. The line-up is a real who's who' of motocross stars, withMXGP contender and minibike fan, Carl Nunn, heading up a field thatwill include freestyle gurus Chris Brock and Jamie Squibb.
The motocross boys will have to fight off thechallenge of pedal-power heroes Steve Peat and Brendan Fairclough, whoare ranked amongst the best downhill mountain bike riders in the world- and are no slouches on a minbike either.
Add to this the fact that recently crownedNational Minibike Champs Trevor Scott and Jonny Groves will have apoint to prove and you will understand why you need to be there towitness the drama unfold.
The racing will take place throughout all fourdays, and will be topped off with some flipping and spinning courtesyof the Bolddog Freestyle crew.
