Cairoli's Yam is a show stopper

THERE is, surprisingly, a fair amount for the off-road fan to get excited about at the National Motorcycle Show this year.
From the exciting new BMW enduro machine to thehand-built CCM motocrosser and the excitingly styled Benelli motocrossand enduro machines, but still one of the best looking and mostinteresting bikes on display is not a new model, but the 2007 MX2 WorldChampionship winning De Carli Yamaha ridden by Antonio Cairoli.
The diminutive Italian is undoubtedly somethingspecial, but so too is the machine which you can get up close andpersonal with on the Yamaha stand.
Dripping in exotica and seriously fast, as Tonydemonstrated so emphatically this year, the bike is custom builtone-off fit for a champion.
Notable stand-out features on the bike includesuper-supple and very beefy Solva suspension units, a custom-builtcarbon-fibre subframe/ airbox, custom built carbon fuel tank, custombuilt Leo Vince exhaust system, huge oversized Nissin brakes, and afully tweaked De Carli Racing motor featuring factory Yamaha parts.
Make sure you stop by the Yamaha stand and take a good long look at it if you are heading down to the NEC.
