British Motocross Championship Mike Kras James Dunn
Last weeks story that Bob Buchanan was ready to fold his GL12 Racing KTM team appears to have been a little premature and the two-stroke guru is in fact working on a typically out-of-the-box way to finance his 2018 effort.
Bobs planning to again field James Dunn and Mike Kras with James taking on the four-strokes in the EMX250 class and Mike concentrating on regaining his EMX300 crown.
The pair will also contest the British Two-stroke Championship Mike is, of course, the 2017 champion and expect James to mix it up at selected rounds of the Dutch Masters series where 250cc strokers can compete against the four-strokes on a equal footing.
But before the pair hit the great outdoors Bobs also looking at a two-stroke assault on the 2018 Arenacross Tour.
To raise the necessary funds Bobs put together a number of support packages to give two-stroke fans the opportunity to get involved, starting with a 10 deal which will get your name on the supporters page and a signed photo of the team and going up to 750 to sponsor the team for an AX or British Two-stroke Championship round and 1500 to sponsor the team for an EMX round.
At the end of the day this is another pitch for some support, said Bob. There are hundreds I know but we are a little different, we are successful and we are changing the face of European motocross. I dont however expect you just to give me your money and say crack on I want you to be part of it to get a return on your money.
