British Motocross Championship Lyng
Norwich Viking MCC is currently looking at how to bring back fans for the Lyng round of the 2021 Revo ACU British Motocross Championship fuelled by Gulf Race Fuels, which is set for May 23.
Further to the confirmation that spectators will be allowed to attend open-air sports events from May 17, the Norwich Viking MCC is currently looking at advanced ticket options and possibly contactless payment for entry to the British championship event on Sunday, May 23.
"Given that this will be one of the first outdoor sports events allowed to have spectators, we need to get this right, and we are doing our best to make it a cashless entry system so far as is practicable," said the club in a statement.
The club would like to stress that neither of these options is confirmed as yet. Norwich Viking MCC will release full details on spectator entry by Sunday, May 16.
"The Norwich Vikings would also like to inform everyone that there is no Spectator Camping available on Saturday evening," they added.
The club will also be using the top gate entrance for spectators. It will be clearly signposted from the A47 and then via Heath Rd.
The Lyng round is the second event on the 2021 MXGB schedule and is a one-day event at Cadders Hill for 85BW, MXY2, WMX and MX1/MX2 classes. You can view the full MXGB schedule below.
Admission charges advertised by the club are: Adult 20, Child Under 15 5, Family Ticket 2+2 45.
