THE European Trials Championship moved into Andorra last weekend for two days of action which proved hugely enjoyable for all those involved. The event represented the second round of the Ladies and Youth series and the fourth round of the Adult and Junior Cup.
The event took place at what is now called Naturlandia, which is on the mountainside above the town of St Julia in southern Andorra, and no fewer than ten British riders were involved in the points chasing. Saturday saw the Ladies and Youths get the weekend underway and after heavy rain on Friday, which saw plenty of water in the river sections as it drained off the mountains, the two classes competed over a short five-kilometre course containing a dozen sections.
