As the final MX2 moto of the 2024 Dirt Store ACU Motocross Championship got underway, there was just four points separating series leader Cas Valk (Gabriel SS24 KTM) and Tommy Searle (Dirt Store Kawasaki). Everyone expected some kind of turn one shenanigans but not this - Tommy's teammate Joel Rizzi clobbers Tommy's rear end entering the turn which sits Tommy up and sends him on a collision course with Valk. But, keen to fight fairly for the championship, Searle gets his KX250 back under control and powers out of the turn next to the Dutchman. Ultimately, Valk pulled away to claim the moto victory and championship title but it could have gone oh-so differently...
