Champ Addy's the daddy of Cadwell

SPECTATORS turned out in droves at the very popular Cadwell Park Circuit, for the 10th and final round of the 2007 Norasport National Supermoto Championship and they were not disappointed with either the weather or the extremely exciting racing.
YOUTH: Lewis Cornish had already secured the Youthseries and tried his hand in the 450cc class on Sunday while JamesMoore used a drop round' to take the opportunity to race in Ireland.
This left Oliver Harrison to take the lead and winall three races. Nathan Ward had a great third place finish andnewcomer Brett Sayer grabbed fourth.
Harrison had a solitary ride at the front in racetwo from Jordan Holliday who finished clear of Josh Haselden. In thefinal race Oliver took his third win followed by Holliday and Haselden.
Scott Wright had his best scoring round at Cadwelltaking fourth in the second race and James Compton also had a reallygood day with his best ever results. Congratulations to the two femaleYouth riders, Katie Jolly finished in ninth place in the championship,with Danielle Field 14th.
450: Mick Bertram moved-up from Group B with aclear lead over Paul Wilby in race one, but it was Nick Allison who hadthe fastest lap, finishing fourth spot.
Allison made his mark early in race two withsecond behind leader Clive Cheek, and both went unchallenged to move upfor the final race.
This left Steve Ellis and Matt Perry to take upthe first two grid positions for the final race. Stuart Sharpe camethrough to take the final first place trophy of the year.
The opening Group A race saw James Addy hold afirm lead from Shane Hewitt and Bruce Dingle to take the first win.Darren Wells and Chris Harrison came fourth and fifth.
Bruce Dingle had the early advantage in the secondrace, setting the fastest lap behind Addy, but James came through toclaim the second win also.
Darren Warner claimed third from Darren Wells andChris Harrison. The third and final race saw Addy take the final win ofthe season as he celebrated his championship. Bruce Dingle took thesecond place trophy in the final race which mirrored his championshipfinish.
