Conrad Mewse Clinches 2025 British MX1 Title at Duns
By Team TMX on 1st Sep 25

Crendon Tru7 Honda Racing’s Conrad Mewse has secured the 2025 Motul ACU British Motocross Championship MX1 title following another strong showing at Duns in Scotland, extending his lead to an unassailable 59 points over Adam Sterry (Chambers Racing KTM) with just one round remaining.
Mewse has been the class of the field throughout the season, delivering a flawless maximum scorecard through the first five rounds. While a wildcard appearance from Red Bull KTM’s Jeffrey Herlings at the Duns doubleheader ended that perfect run, Mewse remained the top-performing series regular, finishing second to the multi-time world champion in both motos.
“I’m happy to take British title #5,” said Mewse. “This British title means a lot to me and the team, so to wrap this one up is fantastic.”
This marks Mewse’s fifth British title, underlining his status as one of the UK’s premier motocross talents. The 26-year-old hinted that he might move to the MX2 class for the final round at Lyng on September 21. Does this mean he’s considering filling the MX2 berth for Team Gb at the upcoming Motocross of Nations? It would make a lot of sense…
