Cowm calling for Eddy's X-treme
By Team TMX on 2nd Feb 16
With just a few days to go until the second Eddys Xtreme of the season entries are still arriving.
Following a great outing at Tong, Wayne Braybrook has bit the bullet and entered into the pro class once again where he will join David Knight and Jonny Walker, Jonno Richardson, Billy Bolt, Ben Hemmingway and Gary Daniels.
Also on the entry list but missing from Tong is Paul Bolton, Richardson's Eurotek teammate, who always puts on a good show wherever he rides.
Cowm is a very technical venue and the trials boys should be able to put on a great show but with Knighter on top form Walker and company will have to be on their game if they are planning on beating him.
Walker's win at the MX24 Ales Trem Extreme in France a couple of weeks ago will have boosted his confidence and he will be looking for his second extreme win of the season at Cowm.
Geordie flyer Billy Bolt now has an international under his belt and is definitely getting the hang of things.
Signing on for the event is open on Saturday to try and ease congestion on Sunday morning, so if you are planning to walk the course on Saturday, sign on at the same time.
Cowm is shaping up to be a spectacular event but don't forget, there is an Off Road Legends training day on Saturday February 6 in memory of Ross Hall, a great competitor who is sadly missed, with all proceeds going to his family.
That should be worth a look, even if you aren't riding it.
Entrance prices to the Sunday event are: Adults £10, Under 16s and OAPs £5 and under 5s free with no charge for parking.
Postcode for the venue is OL12 8XG. For more info go to fasteddyracing.com or call Kath on 07870 291143.
