REIGNING British SX Champion Mike Brown produced yet another outstanding performance as he cruised to an SX1 victory on Saturday night at the NEC Supercross.

The Birmingham NEC Arena played host of the opening round of the 2010 Futurewest/ ACU British Supercross championships. With a strong International line up of Brown, Zach Osborne, Colton Facciotti, Kyle Beaton, Ben Lamay and Ryan Blizzard, the British boys would need to be strong, fast and aggressive to gain podium positions.

The Pro SX1 final saw all the top boys line up, and as the gate dropped it was Mike Brown with his customary holeshot who came out of the first turn with Lamay and Osborne chasing.

With battles raging all through the pack, it was the Canadian Utag rider Colton Facciotti and ever popular Ulsterman Gordon Crockard, aboard his new KX250cc two-stroke Kawasaki, which had the crowd on their feet.
