Marc de Reuver is back on track... and not just any old track! The Dutchman rode at Lommel on Thursday, July 9, as he gradually builds confidence and fitness in preparation for a GP racing comeback at the track they call Sahara' on the first weekend of August!

Given the all clear by his doctor on Thursday morning after scans revealed that his dislocated hip and damaged vertebrae have healed sufficiently to allow him to ride again, the Martin Honda teamster wasted no time in getting back on a bike, riding several tentative laps of Lommel in the afternoon.

With his season wrecked by the injuries, sustained in a training crash at Eersel, Marc will not make any hasty decision about his comeback.

First he will see how his body reacts, and probably make his final decision whether or not to contest the GP of Limburg just a few days before the event.
