Dylan Walsh will make his Arenacross British Championship debut in 2027, joining Jake Preston at Cult JPR KTM as KTM UK backs the team’s six-round campaign.
Walsh arrives in Britain on the back of a fourth-place finish in the 2025 Australian Supercross Championship’s premier SX1 class, riding for the factory KTM Racing Team. The international Supercross racer has also recorded top-10 finishes in the AMA 250SX class and brings plenty of indoor experience to the British championship.
The New Zealand-born rider will line up alongside Arenacross regular Preston, with the pair taking on a field that includes reigning champion Dean Wilson. Walsh has raced against Wilson in Australia and is looking forward to the challenge of bringing that experience to British arenas.
"I'm stoked to be coming back to Britain to race Arenacross,” said Dylan. “I've spent a lot of time racing Supercross in Australia and America, so to get the chance to come back and race indoors in front of the British fans is something I'm really looking forward to.
“I've been racing against Dean Wilson out in Australia and he's said how brilliant the series is, so it's gunna be good to line up with all the other boys in the championship. There's some serious competition, and that's exactly what you want as a rider.
“Having KTM UK behind us is brilliant, and I'm looking forward to getting together with Jake and the team. I want to come over, have some good races and be right up there fighting at the front."
The 2027 Arenacross British Championship features six rounds across three UK cities, with £150,000 in championship prize money up for grabs.
