ANOTHER superb performance came from Dan Thorpe when he won the ACU Midland Centre's Vic Brittain Trophy Trial in the Clee Hill area of Shrop-shire for a record sixth time on Sunday.

While Thorpe took the Premier, maximum Novogar points were scored by local ace Ross Danby who headed off Alexz Wigg and Lee Sampson in a three-way battle of the teenagers.

Never at any time bothered by their new experience in riding as Adults and on the road, winner Ross Danby, and Alexz Wigg, who have both enjoyed riding at Youth World Trials level, and Alexz already 125cc Youth World champion, were second and third overall, just one mark apart.

First to lose marks, Danby dropped a single at section four, in the opening group at Starvecrow, and three in the second at Park Farm where Wigg failed to negotiate a sharp turn out after a steep drop, but still led as Danby added two in the third section.
