The 2010 ACU British Enduro Sprint Champion-ship drew to a close last weekend when the six- round series descended on Mid Wales for what was a thrilling two-day event. With the worst, wet Welsh weather making day one extremely challenging for all competitors, Sunday saw the championship end under clear skies and with the track in perfect condition
David Knight has claimed the first ever British Enduro Sprint Championship title with a double Elite class win at the final fifth and sixth rounds of the series, held at Saints Well in Mid Wales. Coming into the event the dominant performer at the opening four rounds of the series, although he didn't have things all his own way during round six he made it six wins from six to secure his first title of 2010.
