LANCASHIRE teenager George Morton, made a mockery of the Bradford Club's trial at Birsty Woods, Summerbridge, on Sunday, losing a mere three marks on the four lap, ten section course.

So superior was the Repsol Beta rider, that he managed to put at least 39 marks between himself and closest challengers Nathan Wrigglesworth and Ross Crosby.

Paul Sadler also put Beta – the brand new four-stroke machine at that – at the top of the 31-strong Clubman class.

Thomas Wolfendon rode the hard course in company with Sam Jennings. Trawden youngster, Wolfendon, finished in fifth place, while Jennings took eighth.
