GG weekend news..
By TMX Archives on 22nd Feb 10

The weekend started with the infamous Tough One' Extreme Enduro on Saturday which was won easy by Knighter. His brother Juan Knight flew the GAS GAS flag and finished a respectable 7th overall on his faithful CC300..
The Spanish GG Rider XaviLeon was a ‘nonstarter' so we lentour CC250 to DBR test-man Geoff Walker who was enjoying his maiden gasser outinguntil he wrenched his already dodgy knee and was gutted to retire inpain.
Congrats to WOR who organised yetanother superb T1.
Steve Plains GGUK Enduro RidersAshley Wood, Bradley King and Charlie Evans opted out of the Tough One becausethey chose to spend the whole weekend training and testing in sand ready for thestart of the BEC this coming weekend.
GGUK spannerman Luke Meredith hasreturned to MX for 2010 but plans to do a few Enduros in-between his MXcalendar. He was also out on Saturday getting used to the new GG ECF2504T whichhe will ride this weekend at the Muntjac in the Expert Class.
We will have Ashley in ChampionshipE2, Brad in Champ E3, Charlie in E3 Expert and Luke in E1-4TExpert.
Wakey wakey Sunday morning to moreannoying snow L. This forced the YMSATrial to be cancelled and also affected many events.
The first round of the NovogarTrials Championship (Wallace Cup Trial) went ahead unaffected but some Northernriders including JSTGG Riders Dan Thorpe, Katy Sunter and Dan Farrer could reachthe event because of the snow.
The Expert Class was won by SAMHASLAM (JSTGG) on 7 marks with Sam Connor in second. Next best JST GG Teamsterwas Ross Danby who only dropped 13 and finished 6th place overall atthe finish. Ben Morphett rode at the back of the entry and was the overallwinner.
Most Nationals are relatively lowscoring for the Top lads which makes for a very close event. Concentration isthe key.
James Dabill is still inSpain training and riding inbetter weather, he returns to the miserable UKweather this week to prepare for the start of the British Trials Championship intwo weeks time.
This coming weekend there's plentymore action with Round 1 of the Youth A+B British Trials Championship, Round 1of the British Enduro Championship and Round 2 of the NovogarChampionship.
