Golden touch for BSMA
By TMX Archives on 7th Oct 10
The BSMA series in 2011 has been proudly sponsored by Golden Tyres and will run on the last weekend of each month from March to August, writes Don Church.
The dates chosen will clash with very few other major events which will allow riders to compete in a number of series throughout the season.
The opening round will take place at the all weather Wilden Lane circuit to ensure that the series gets off to a good start. Having attended a meeting at the weekend despite numerous cancellations else where the Wilden Lane circuit gave an exciting day's racing with no need for assistance to enter or leave the circuit so bad weather will not dampen the start of the 2011 Golden Tyres BSMA series.
It is proposed to give prize monies and trophies at each round together with overall awards. The trophies have already been sponsored together with numerous holeshot and special awards up for grabs. Full details will be advertised shortly. If a registered rider completes the opening five rounds then they will be entitled to a free entry at round six.
We are currently confirming the remaining venues for the 2011 series and they will be confirmed along with the complete prize structure in the very near future. Please watch the BSMA website and the TMX for details.
If you are thinking of registering for the 2011 Golden Tyres series then please contact the BSMA office for details to avoid disappointment. All of the contracted sponsors will be officially launched in the very near future but there are still opportunities available should you wish to be part of the exciting 2010 series.
The BSMA offer its sincere thanks to Doodson Motorsport for their support during the 2010 series and anticipate working closely again in the upcoming year.
