Good 'un at Baden!

HEAVY rain and high winds did little to deter riders from attending round 14 of the WOR Premiership at Baden Hall, near Stafford, on Sunday.
Despite a severe battering overnight on Saturday, the excellent Baden Hall course held up well and provided a rideable course for competitors of all levels of experience.
With plenty of standing pools of water, the event was always destined to be wet, but the nature of the venue meant there were very few areas of deep mud. There was plenty of spray however and riders who discarded their goggles early on paid the price as the race wore on.
The threat of rain became fact just after the race began and a short but torrential downpour really made it hard work for the riders. Ironically, as soon as the race was completed, the sun came out!
