As Matterley Basin prepares for the next round of the MXGP championship, the aspiring stars of tomorrow will be preparing themselves for the second round of the Honda 150 European Championship 2015 season.

Although Albin Larsen currently leads the championship, he missed out on a race win at the first event of the year in Italy; with Emil Weckman and British star Jack Bintcliffe taking race one and two wins respectively. This weekend will see these three battling it out for the championship lead but with riders so evenly matched, they could be under pressure from those behind looking to score good points.

British rider Jake Parker will be making his debut in the championship as a wild card rider, taking the place of the injured Norwegian Hakon Fredrikson, for this round. Archie Osmaston will also be sitting out of the British round with a fractured tibia; Adam Caroleo will replace him.

Once again the overall event winner will receive a Fox Instinct trophy, as well as a pair of Fox Instinct boots, while the overall second and third placed riders with earn themselves a €150 Fox Head voucher each.

The top five championship standings are currently:

1: Albin Larsen 44 points

2: Emil Weckman 43 points

3: Jack Bintcliffe 41 points
