Incredible Lee Dun'

FOLLOWING on from our AMCA MX1 Championship review in the last issue, we head over to the AMCA MX2 Championship, where again consistency was certainly the key word as Lee Dunham wrapped up a truly incredible season by claiming his first ever AMCA title. In total, Dunham claimed seven podium places including five overall victories.
In the 22 motos he contested, Lee finished outside the top three placings on just four occasions, that's consistency! Indeed, the only time Lee missed the podium was during the final round at Norley when after sewing up the title he decided to take a well-earned break and sit out the last moto of the series.
Such was Lee's dominance that he entered the final round of the series at Norley a massive 149 points clear of 2008 champion Phil Mercer and requiring just an 11th place moto finish to earn the MX2 crown.
