It's Tuck at the top
By Mick Perry on 8th Mar 07
Bristol crew Jon Tuck and Matt Sparkes repeated their first round win in the British Sidecar Trials Championship at round three staged by the Camborne Redruth club in rain and wind-lashed Cornwall, on Sunday.
They incurred four single-mark debits in a total of 40 sections to finish nine ahead of reigning title holders Robin and Gill Morewood with former champs Robin Luscombe and Les Ashby in third spot. Tuck and Sparks now lead the Morewoods by 20 points with Luscombe/ Ashby a further five points adrift.
Kevin Nolan and Karl Jarvis lost two places in the table when they retired with clutch problems just after the halfway stage of the event, and Rupert and Chris Kimber and Steve Radford and Mike Redston are now right on their tails.
Phil Sparks and Dave Tuck claimed victory in the Masters class by 14 marks and now lie third in the table.
