Know your A, B, see?

TWO names topped the results columns at Bracken Rocks on Sunday at the opening round of the ACU British A and B Youth Trials Championship, Kent's hot property Chris Short, and MRS Sherco teamster Luke Walker. However, to say they took the opposition apart would be the biggest understatement of the year.
In Youth A, 16-year old Short managed to get his JST Gas Gas through all but two sections, the fearsome fifth and the diabolical seventh where huge angled steps created havoc. Hard to take in but Shorty beat 2009 Bracken winner Chris Stay by a massive 41 marks, and Chris is no mug at Holloway and never has thrown up a poor result.
Meanwhile, in Youth B, Luke Walker rode his new MRS Sherco in such style that he had 30 marks in hand over Bradley Cox and Iwan Roberts.
