KTM & Husqvarna recalls 2016 models
By Team TMX on 6th Jan 16
Owners of 2016 KTM and Husqvarna machines are facing a second recall after routine testing discovered a possible problem with front wheel spokes in both marques full-sized motocross range.
In October last year there was also a major recall following issues with fuel pumps and hoses on most machines in the KTM and Husqvarna off-road range.
The bikes affected are KTM 125 SX, 150 SX, 250 SX, 250 SX-F, 350 SX-F and 450 SX-F models along with Husqvarna's TC 125, TC 250, FC 250, FC 350 and FC 450 machines.
The tests identified the possibility that some spokes may exhibit quality deviations, causing them to break which would overloaded the remaining intact spokes.
Customers will be informed in writing and are asked to contact their local authorised dealer to arrange an appointment. You can see if your motorcycle is affected by checking online in the service area on the KTM and Husqvarna websites.
The replacement of the front wheel spokes can only be carried out by authorised dealers. This work will be carried out completely free of charge.
