Lancelot and Iven injured

Livi Lancelot and Peter Iven, the defending champions and current leaders of the World Ladies Motocross Championship and World Veteran Cup, both joined the injured list this week.
The French girl dislocated a shoulder at Lommel while practicing on Wednesday.
"We don't know how serious it is yet," admitted KRTE team manager, Martin van Genderen, on Friday morning at Teutschenthal, venue for this weekend's German GP.
"The dislocation was inwards, not outwards, so the ligaments have not been stretched, and we will have to see if she can race this weekend."
With the next race in the Ladies series a fortnight away in Sweden, the team clearly has to hope the pain will allow Livi to race. She currently holds a comfortable 24-point lead in the series and the speed differential between the leading four and the rest of the pack means that she could possibly even salvage a top six finish on Saturday evening and Sunday morning in Uddevalla. Time will tell.
Veteran class leader, Iven, appears to be out of the Latvian GP next week.
The Belgian suffered breaks to both bones in his lower leg during an amateur race last weekend. Should he miss out, it will give Mats Nilsson the chance to build an almost un-catchable points lead before the final round of the Vets series at Lommel in Belgium on the first weekend of August.
