Following on from the success of two previous timecard enduros the WOR team are taking things to another level with the organisation of the Michelin Tyres Enduro of North Wales on Sunday October 31st.

By linking together 3  forestry blocks, previously used for their other events, and incorporating a Moto-X special test on a brand new open hill and moor land it has been possible to construct a very enjoyable 29 mile lap starting close to the village of Llandrillo, near Corwen. Some of the course utilises tracks last used in the classic Tour of Wales Enduro that used to take place in this area and the club is grateful to the clerk of the course from the old Tour Of Wales, Nick Banks, who has joined the WOR team to help this event take place.

The Michelin Tyres Enduro of North Wales on Sunday the 31st October is getting very near to completion, all that is needed now is More Entries to come in for what promises to be a true classic.

The course offers a really well planned lap that will not offer the rider the usual single rut and root infested going that seems to be the norm at most time card events of late.
The course will have 4 checks per lap and will be timed to perfection for the various rider abilities.

The Experts will do 4 laps and 3 special tests equating in to almost 120 miles, The clubman and veterans will do 3 laps and 2 special tests, equating into 90 miles and then the Over 50's, Ladies, Sportsman and Novice will do 2 laps and 2 special tests resulting in 60 miles of riding.

With Nick Banks and Phil Wilkinson (two enduro stalwarts) on board to help WOR Events run this event ensuring it will run like clockwork no matter what the weather, and with some minimal road work and green lanes thrown in the course is very special indeed.

Starting in the village of Llandrillo and using 3 separate forests the event is already exciting the organisers as they know the product is going to be hugely successful.
The virgin special test will certainly put a smile on the rider's faces.

The entry forms can be downloaded from www.worevents.com and this is the preferred method of entry although you can enter by calling 07528 008 658 (phone entries do carry a surcharge).

The club urges interested riders to please hurry and enter the event so the times and schedule can be fully planned ASAP.

All riders are most welcome to enter whether a WOR member or not.”

For those looking for a full two days of riding, the club are also organising another of their popular Race Experience Days for the Saturday, in another part of one of the forestry blocks that is being used the following day. This is a 6 mile loop that offers the riders a private, closed circuit, (no road work) Practice and play session with riding advice and tips provided along with a mini 1hr introduction Hare and Hounds race.

This is an opportunity to ride a traditional timecard enduro that is becoming an increasingly rare event in these days of restricted land use and ever increasing organisational red tape. A good entry will ensure that such events continue to take place and encourage the club to continue with this format in future years.
