Mike Alessi returns at Washougal

Mike Alessi rill return to the AMA Motocross scene this weekend following a 23 month absence
While his plans for the rest of the summer don't seem to be set in stone just yet, Alessi will be back on the starting gate for the first time since the end of the 2013 season at Saturday's Peterson CAT Washougal National.
Since last summer, Alessi and the MotoConcepts team have bounced around the globe, doing races in Canada and Europe, but he's coming back to the U.S. (at least for this round), and he was at Washougal on Thursday for press day along with his teammate Vince Friese.
Washougal is a fitting place for Alessi's season debut, as this track has created a lot of memories for him - both good and bad - over the last few years. The high point was a moto win here in 2012 that snapped Ryan Dungey's 10-moto winning streak.
