MX Diary: Brits in IMBA mix

Theres a very busy weekend coming up for Team AMCA Great Britain riders contesting the 2016 IMBA European Championships with the MX1, MX2 and sidecars all in action at different locations.
The MX1 championship fight moves to Ohlenberg in Germany, MX2 riders head to Schleitheim in Switzerland and the sidecar crews travel to Atthenhoven in Belgium.
Several Brits have shone in Europe and are in with a serious chance of medals.
With just two rounds remaining in the sidecar contest Jack Etheridge/Scott Grahame head the title chase and are currently 60 points clear of their closest rivals, Nick Janssens/ Glenn Janssens of Belgium.
Also going very well for the Brits are the pairings of George Kinge/ Zac Snell in eighth and Dan Foden/Joshua Haynes ninth.
Joining Etheridge, Kinge and Foden in action this weekend will be David Keane/ Paul Horton, Sam Osbaldiston/ Nathan Cooper and Michael Hodges/ Liam Hodges.
In the European MX2 series recently crowned AMCA champion Josh Waterman is holding a very strong second place just 34 points behind four-time IMBA MX2 title holder John Cuppen of Holland.
Also inside the top 10 are Lewis King and Jack Gardner in fifth and sixth.
Last time out at their home IMBA round at Penkridge, Waterman and King filled the top two places on the podium so a repeat performance this Sunday in Switzerland would be a very welcome result.
Ryan Pottenger will be joining the British trio on the long trip to the Swiss hillside circuit.
Over in MX1 Ed Briscoe is the leading Brit in eighth and he'll be joined by Scott Bates, Sam Smith and Joshua Scott at the small, tight German circuit.
