MX Nationals date rescheduled

In order to avoid a clash with the first European MXGP at Valkenswaard, the first round in the 2016 MX Nationals series at Wakes Colne is to be moved to May 28-29.
The Valkenswaard date was itself recently changes following a GP re-shuffle which also saw the axing of the Malaysian GP.
A statement from the MX Nationals said: "Valkenswaard is the best supported GP in Europe and with a number of our Pro riders looking to compete there and even more registered riders hoping to go and watch, we have taken the decision to move the Wakes Colne event to avoid this clash.”.
This change will make round 2 of the Michelin MX Nationals now April 9/10 at Landrake – Cornwall.
The new calendar will look as follows:
- Round 1 – March 5/6 – Preston Docks
- Round 2 – April 9/10 – Landrake
- Round 3 – May 28/29 – Wakes Colne
- Round 4 – July 23/24 – Canada Heights
- Round 5 – August 13/14 – TBA
- Round 6 – September 3/4 – Hawkstone Park
